Whats the interest in single rib slip rings, I plan on doing a small run of them and just checking the interest.
If one rib as in the early prototype, then absolutely, I'd want one if priced reasonable.
fwiw, i think most would pay extra to have them anodized. maybe reach out to victor to see if he can do bulk pricing.
I might buy one if anodized.
Not really interested if in the white though. |
I'd take at least one or two either way, anodized is better of course.
If anodized what color would be wanted? I'm assuming grey, but know they were offered in grey and black in the past by another member.

I used a black one on a modern rifle build and it looked really good. I sold the rifle but wished I would have swapped the ring out before I sold it. I have a few grey ones on retro stuff though. |
Two for certain. Grey would be best. Black if that's all there is. Either or both kinds.
Heck I would be up for one or two Grey preferred but ITW would do as well
I'd buy one, I'm doing a prototype build later this summer. Would be a nice touch.

I've picked up a couple reproductions of prototype rings along the way...like the single rib the best http://i151.photobucket.com/albums/s147/crackedcornish/3ab95923.jpg http://i151.photobucket.com/albums/s147/crackedcornish/IMG_0181.jpg View Quote I've never seen an knurled one before. |

I would definitely be in for two, prefer grey anodized or in the white.
Two for me. Grey or in the white preferred, but I'll take them any way I can get them. In the process of a prototype build and collecting parts. I would be willing to pre pay if needed.

OK, thanks everyone for the input.
Just want to make sure its known this isnt a for sale ad, I need to get in contact with someone on here and see about selling a quantity with out a dealer account. dont want to get my account locked. |

one more question, is there a lot of interest in knurled ones?
I'd have to say am9nhst is here on arfcom, yes. The general AR15 public, no.
I am interested in a knurled one in addition to one or two single ribs.
What price are you thinking? |
Single rib versus knurled? Different item? Am I missing something?

See photos on page 1 of this thread. Crackedcornish shows both the knurled version and a single-rib. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

Anyone got an image of a "knurled" ring? See photos on page 1 of this thread. Crackedcornish shows both the knurled version and a single-rib. Ok, gotcha, still like the single rib better. My prototype will be waiting for one, lol. |
Depending on price I would go in for at least one of each type. Grey is much better than black.
I would be in for a single rib, anodized would be best for me. I have a project I am collecting parts for.
Yes! in the white doesn't bother me, I have friends in low places.

View Quote Awesomeness! Make me want your proto builds now. |
