Guys looking for a little help here, snagged this upper off of GB. Seems to be a 653 upper but has a 16" barrel that's throwing me off a little.

Grey anodized, CK marked upper, C MP B marked barrel.

Let me know if you need more or better pictures.

May have been a sp1 upper and the upper and carrier were replace with a small hole upper.

That's not a 653 upper.

I was thinking 653 because the upper and barrel markings were correct for that model.

I think that's likely. Looks 16" to me. Still a very nice upper.

Yep looks like an earlier Colt SP1 carbine barrel on a replacement upper.
