I'm overall very happy with my experience thus far with Indiana Army Surplus. Email responses have been quite prompt, always answer all my questions to the best of their abilities, and received everything well packaged. Granted I didn't order much, mainly because I was on a budget and couldn't afford alot when I first ordered. Also, I'm trying to finish one retro at a time so I'm not consumed with always looking for parts. That and the fiance and I are getting married in October so I'm trying to be good and not spend alot of money right now on gun stuff.
I don't know which number I was in during the ordering line, I called about 2-3 weeks ago and got my name in the ordering list. Due to them inventorying everything, and getting people ahead of me I didn't get the okay to call them and give them my payment info until Monday. They sent me confirmation of my order on Tuesday, got my order today. Extremely excited about how everything looked. Though I was short one take down pin, upon looking at my receipt I found an envelope with the $4 cash in it and a brief explanation that they had simple ran out. Good enough for me. Here is what I got
-A1 stripped upper CK marked
-2 bolt catches
-2 no tick safety selectors
-2 front take down pins
-1 rear take down pin
-2 magazine release buttons
Like I said, didn't have much spare cash at the moment, so I ordered what I could afford.
Granted, I was hoping to get a complete upper or even one with the rear sight aperture already in it. Already have a second order in to get a tear drop FA, all parts for the rear sigh assemble, and hopefully they can have a port door. Granted someone else posted they bought the last one in the other Bedford post (curse you!!), Slim said that they were still finding stuff.
If you haven't heard back from them yet, give them some time. Slim informed me today when I spoke to him that they were already about a week or so behind, mainly because he is the main one tasked with going through all the emails and trying to find the parts people want. Coupled with the fact that they are having a grand opening soon (same company also just opened a gas company), and he's trying to find the stash of super retro parts for some of you guys. I'll be happy if he finds an ejection port door for me along with everything else. Slim wanted to add though, he appreciates all the business you guys are giving them and he's trying to get everyone's order as complete as possible.
Now for what some of you have been looking for, the pictures of what I received
