I guess it's about that time to pose the semi-annual question............Who all is going to be in for the Knob Creek Shoot......April 11, 12, 13?
I'll be there Fri only, as I have to work Sat and Sun. Big blue Suburban with diesel sized tailpipe......I'll get there early enough to have a parking spot relatively close to the gate.......makes going back to the truck for lunch cookout. |
We might be there for a day to talk to a few people, depends on how the schedule works out...
I'll be there Sat-Sun..... Flying to St. Louis Int. Airport, meeting up with my uncle and we are driving there from his house in Dupo, IL. I can't wait, took a week's vacation and 2 personal days to make it this year.
ETA: I bought some Arfcom Logo'd T-Shirts that I'm gonna wear, hopefully I can meet some fellow members. |
Not this time but i'll be going in Oct just confirmed with the missus i owe a lot of people here thanks and something in return so i hope to see some of you then
I'll be there most of the day on Saturday, it's only about 50 minutes from me but I still rarely get to go. I have to take a vacation day at work just to make it this time.
Ill be there Friday and Saturday. Normally I am the 3rd guy to buy a ticket.
If it weren't 9 hours id drive the HMMWV. More than likely I am renting a Prius. Yall can help push me out of the mud. Louis.. I'm down for a lunch cookout. Ill bring something to throw in. |
I'm jealous. I've never been. Maybe before my time card expires.

Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday! Four days just isn't enough for me! 9 days to go and counting.

Recently retired, will now get to go Friday and Saturday. Hope to meet some fellow Tribesmen and also find parts to complete a build. I bought an M16A1 upper several years ago and want it to be my first retirement project.

I am planning to be there Friday and half of Saturday, IF I can get the baby sitter to cover Friday which shouldn't be a problem.

I say we meet somewhere Friday about 1200 at the entrance.
If its cold Im not wearing my avatar shirt. I might just stick a flag that says RBRD on my backpack. Don't expect texas BBQ.. I have ribeye poboys on the menu. Ill try to score real NOLA poboy bread.. We will cook at Louis suburban. I will bring a table for us and 2nd grill. I don't have 10 hours to tend a pit . Im me and I we can swap numbers. I am suspecting a dozen or so? Bring your favorite retro rifle.... |

Not gonna make the BBQ. Too bad, it sounds great. I'll be down on the subgun range all weekend wearing a red t-shirt. It should be a fun match to watch!

This will be my first time going . . . I've only owned an AR for the past 3-4 years, but heard about this event from a coworker that shoots.
I'll be getting there probably around 2PM'ish . . . leaving pretty early Friday morning from the Milwaukee area. I'm still a newb to this, but it would be great to meet some people in person vs online. i'll look for the BFL . . . I'll be wearing a khaki cap with the BFL. Hope to see you gents there. |
No one that I have talked to in central Illinois is heading there. I usually fly (private aircraft) to the airport and rent a car. I was there for the past 3 shoots. Probably going to sit this one out.
