THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT I am finding real quick that the correct parts for any one particular clone are Few and far between if you want to build a 99% correct clone and takes lots of patience to do so since this rifle will be a KISS shooter I figured I would just use some modern parts in place of some original correct parts while still maintaining the retro look and spend more time on finding all the correct parts for my next build a M16A1. The parts I am thinking of using are.. -muzzle attachment (don't want to go crazy with this since its permanent) I'm thinking spikes dyna comp. -charging handle (prolly a BCM gunfighter small or medium latch) -buffer tube (6 position for sure) -rear sight (larger aperture) -front sight (tritium type) Like I said these are small parts that will not kill the retro look of the rifle and Since I am a AR retro newbie and have owned only a couple modern carbines in the past so i know I love these parts listed And would like to incorparate them into my rifle I would like to hear from you guys that know this stuff to see if any of you have commited this type of retro sin and for any suggestions Thanks and sorry for typos I'm posting from my super smart advanced iPhone

Some will say "NOT A RETRO!!!" but I say build what you like. I built a 603 clone a few years ago on which the only things more than a year old was the plastic furniture. And the port door.

Since you already said it's an Air Farce mixmaster, dont sweat it. They just throw together whatever they can get their hands on without regard.
So build it how you want is... |
