Sorry, ElCid–– I had trouble coming up with a comment that wouldn't betray my extreme jealousy!
Mine are Portuguese so I really don't know much about the Guats except what I've heard around here. I really like that barrel shroud and muzzle device, though. Just damned sexy. Sorry if I missed it, but what does she weigh (unloaded)? |

Nice pics! The adjustable gas port is a great feature. With an aluminum lower weight is 7lbs 14ozs.
How much does yours weigh with steel? |

Great question on weight! My Portuguese Sendra lower feels heavier, but it also has a Wilke wood forearm and butt stock. I will try to weight both.

Even a Portuguese with original furniture is noticeably heavier than a Sudanese or Guatemalan AR-10. You will be amazed at the weight difference. A Sudanese weighs about the same as a Colt Mod 601 or Mod 604. |
