There is a big price difference between VG and excellent, and cast sight versus non cast sight.  Also need to know if there is a "12" near the muzzle, and if there us an "M" near the "VP" markings.  Pictures would be most helpful.

Any thoughts?  Tomorrow is the gun show at 0900.......

Well, with the limited info that you have provided, it is worth somewhere between $400 and $1400.  Most likely near the lower end. Good luck.

I just picked up a SP1 Carbine w/ 16" barrel on a trade.  Serial number is 195XXX (apparently '83-'85 vintage).  The previous owner initially stated it was a 1972 vintage, but he didn't consider the "1" as part of the serial number.

16" barrel, 6 hole narrow carbine handguards, acetate stock with two position extension.  Carrier has the semi-only cut, notched hammer.

Rifle came with a Colt 3x20 scope mounted on the carry handle, made in Japan (still has yellow inspection decal on it).  The previous owner stated that the scope came with the rifle when new (?).

Rifle has been fired, but overy little.  Acetate stock shows no obvious wear.  Overall, easily a 95-98% gun (hard to judge, it is a Colt after all).

Prices seem to be all over the place on these.  What would be a fair market value on the rifle with and withour the optic?

Thank you!

Picked these up in a box of junk from an estate sale. What is the current market value of them? All the floor plates are marked Armalite/Colt.

Waffles bring stupid money these days. Not quite up on the exact figures, but they seem to sell in the $300-$400 range IIRC. Each.

That's a wicked retro score right there.

ETA: here's one that sold recently.

I have an unissued PRC-10 radio with handset made in 1968 with date tag still attached.  Unissued new accessory kit as well.  Only item that is used are the straps.  I have seen used radios by themselves go for 300+.  Right now there is a used accessory kit on ebay for $225.  I just want to gauge interest in value of everything.  I think it could be a somewhat rare setup since it's unissued.  Everything I have is pictured.  Thanks for any help.

Also can you tell me if it's been milled out already for the auto sear. This is my first old rifle I have seen and I have never handled a military rifle.

Heck of a rifle you have there. I going to guess something like that is almost worth more parted out vs kept whole and sold as one piece. You also have a nice, older NoDak partial and those in that serial number range were made from 6061 which I think is cool. I guess you could sit down and do the math and add it all up?

Need an estimate on value of a Colt M16 barrel.
Best I can tell from Ekies guide from about 67-69.
Has the smooth forged fsb. Barrel is marked with a C about and inch rear of the FH.
Has the MP on right side of barrel between the mounts of the fsb.

I would rate the outside finish at 90% or better.

The bore seems really nice to me, but I'm no gunsmith.

Has original Fh, triangle end cap, fsb, but no sight post spring or detent.

What would be a ball park value on this?

Thanks in advance.

I would think as an entire rifle, $1200 to $1500 because of some really nice early parts.  you may do better than that parting it out.

id guess 30 buck each.

I have a slick side upper that I bought 15 + years ago from one of the online dealers.  I recall it was advertised as a surplus M16 upper and had a 1:12 twist thin / pencil barrel.  Code on bbl says C MP C, I do not see a twist rate mark.  It had the paper straw in the bbl when I got it.

I did not see any forge markings on the FSB

With all the current retro builds I am considering selling to someone for a build.  If I sell I would like to be reasonable, but don't want to eave money on the table.

Can anyone help me figure out what I have?

What is the market value for an AN PVS-2 Nght Vision Scope - Isreali refurb with AA battery adapter, good and bright tube, and mounts for M16 Carry handle, M-14 and FAL?

Here are a couple of awesome Vietnam era Randall knives.  These belonged to a guy who served as an Army medic.  Both are marked with his name and one also has his social security number.  Both are Model 18 Attacks, crutch tips with pinched tubes.  The only differences are the blade length, one is 5.5" and the other is 7.5".  Unfortunately, the soldier and his wife have both passed away before any official provenance was established.

Randall Model 18 Attack 5.5", Orlando, FL blade.  Marked with the soldier's name on the cross guard.

Randall Model 18 Attack 7.5", Solingen blade.  Marked with the soldier's name and serial number on the back side of the blade.

Both sheaths are identical in features, except for length (obviously).

The ALICE clip modification was a factory upgrade, as I'm told.

Can someone provide me with an approximate value?
Thanks for any help!

I did not see any forge markings on the FSB

With all the current retro builds I am considering selling to someone for a build.  If I sell I would like to be reasonable, but don't want to eave money on the table.

Can anyone help me figure out what I have?

604 uppers are running $600 to $700, unless you find a good deal.  It is fairly early, the "C MP C" barrel makes it from about 1969.  It was a transitional period, and it has a chrome chamber, but not bore.  In 1970 they stated doing the bores also "C MP B".

Value of an unused striped (only barrel nut was included) Colt Saudi Contract 14.5" LW 1/12 barrel (1996 Mfg)?  Marked 5.56 Chrome Bore?  Trying to decide on whether I want to hold onto this for a 653 build or not.

A little late for a reply, but the first knife I'm pretty sure is a Model 15.  The second an 18.

Worth ?  All I can say is in the 4 figures, each.  Those are very desirable Nam era Randalls.  It would help if you had any paperwork.  Short of that at least the owners name and unit, rank or theater.

Very, nice items.

Colt bolts..  How much are they worth?
Seems a complete BCG is worth about 125 (at least that the most people want to pay for one it looks like to me.... )
but I'm seeing bolts listed places for 75-85 and they are used.

1976 SP1, Chrome lined bore, probably 150 rounds between myself and my father.

Thanks

I think $1500 is VERY LOW for what you have.  It should sell for more like $2000+.

Thanks, really torn on whether to keep it or sell it and build two more (pistol and then .556).  Gun grab is the only thing really swaying me to keep it.

http://www.gunbroker.com/Semi-Auto-Rifles/BI.aspx?Keywords=sp1

Of the SP1 carbines on gb right now, only one has bids at $1600. Multiple listed at $2000 without any bids. If you want to get a better idea of value, Id watch that for a month or so.

Personally, Id keep it. Theyve only gone up in price and theyre cool.

btw: 159k serial number is 1982 production.

I've racked my brain trying to determine which it is and I think you're right.  Colt's database look up doesn't have SP159xxx but it does have SP59xxx, shows up as a 1976 Sporter so that's what I was going on.  I've Googled and can't find a picture database by year features.

So I have a Stevens trench gun heat shield/bayonet lug combo. Its "S" marked and has the correct plum colored bayonet lug that were unique to Stevens. Its 6 row, 29 hole pattern in the heat shield indicating WWII production. What's it worth?? I'm seriously considering finding a Stevens 520 or 620 to make a trench replica but I wonder if that's a misuse of such a rare part.

I had two of these fronts without the heat shields (they had been cut off).  I sold them on Gun Broker for $125 each.  I would guess your complete one would bring $300 or more.  It's your heat shield assembly, use it for what you want.  You will not have to modify or damage it to use it, so you could always remove it later to sell/trade
