So, I’m thinking it actually might be all original maybe 1975 era. Early-mid 70’s Colt use the Bell and C FSB and the Chrome Bore roll marks came along 75-76 ish and there was no forge code uppers in that same time frame. Without a BCG, charging handle, port door and handguards I’d value it between $700-900 depending on the person and day.

I have a SP1 carbine that I got back in the 80's. I shot it but never modified it. I think it is all original. What is the value? I believe it was made in approximately 1981.
Thanks for your thoughts, Steve I am having trouble posting pictures, so how do I post photos? I am not real computer literate. Thanks I can email them to someone who might be able to post. |

I have been offered a COLT N 1 Carbine Stock from a friend.
I would say in VG condition, the Checkering on the Butt is still crisp. No digs or scraps. Sorry no pic's yet I DON'T think the 6-Position Buffer Tube is Colt, but it fits very Tight, and the stock slides very smoothly, with no wobble. So, what do these go for today? He is asking $100. Thanks in advance. |

That's like top price for excellent condition +, I'd offer $75-80 if you got to have it. That commercial buffer tube is dime a dozen parts bin, maybe $10-15. Who knows though, maybe in a year or 2 they will double in price so try to come together on a price, will he negotiate? I guess if you want the commercial tube with it, $90.00 isn't too far fetched. |

If your barrel is Colt, your looking at $2400.00 in parts value including the lower receiver, I'd have no problem paying $1500.00 for that gun in the wild knowing I could turn a profit on the lower alone. |

View Quote I haven't torn out the barrel, so I'm not sure what it is to be honest. I did verify that all of the internals are mil surp Colt. The FCG, the BCG, and the buffer assembly are all Colt. The upper is definitely a Martin Marietta mil surp, the stock is a later Colt stock, and the hand guards are Colt m16a2 hand guards. It also has an m16a1 grip on it now. I just need to verify the barrel. Definitely a nice piece of history! Now to decide what I want to do with it 🤔 |

All of the barrels are either marked C MP B or C MP Bore, The uppers are on the 20 " have no forge markings, one upper has a K forge marking and one is CM . They dont have bolt carriers in them. Just like to find out about what they are each worth and what is the date range on the units. Thank you Attached File

I'm confident that you'd pull more than that parting them out because upper recivers are hot right now and I wouldn't be surprised if a few of yours fetched $350.00 + ETA : The 20" uppers appear to be home builds because the receivers are significantly older than the barrel markings you provided. |

The good news is you have all USGI parts except for the SP1 big hole upper, you'd be best served to part them out. |

I recently acquired three rifle length barrels with FSP. triangle retainer, barrel nut, sling swivel. The tops read 3S679 MP 5.56 NATO 1/7 and FNMI MP 5.56 NATO 1/7. They have a nice patina to them, rifling looks good. I can text someone pictures if they need to look at them. Just wondering on what they are worth for a fair price, even to give someone a deal, prices people are charging for stuff these days is out of control. Thanks

Attached File Have five sets of six hole carbine handguards left, single shield. I think they are Colt but not sure. One set is new in the plastic bag, but the rest seem like new and or lightly used - gas tube black powder on the inside heat shield, no damage. They are all the same, made of some type of material nicer than the old carbine handguards that came with a Bushy back in the day. Doe these go for anything? They have a ridge on one side and an indentation on the other. I like the way they feel though, but MLOK they are not. I found this link, checking, https://www.ar15.com/forums/ar-15/Comparing-Colt-Carbine-Handguards-Big-Pictures/123-491991/ They all check out colt. 1 set NIW 3 sets excellent 1 has a scratch on one of the ridges because I used it on my AR until I scored some M4 double shields. |

Howdy, trying to price some parts for an old friend who was an Army armorer from the 1960's to the 1980's. This stuff has been boxed up in his shop for 30 years, some of the stocks were coated in dust, the 601 charging handles wrapped up in old paper. He was planning on taking the parts to some local shows later in the year, but didn't want to sell in bulk as he had been burnt before by some resellers. [Uppers and carbine stock already gone]
Need help with prices for original: -A1 3 prong flash hiders -A1 full cage flash hiders -601 charging handles -Slip/Delta rings -A1 stocks (Types D and E) -5.56 marked Colt mags -.223 marked Colt mags Thanks in advance for any help with current market pricing! This Aimpoint 5000 was on a PCC I picked up. The optic is in really great condition but there's no box or manuals. Besides the fact that these were used during the time of Mogadishu and Blackhawk Down I couldn't find much information on if they're rare, valuable or hard to come by. The battery life (or lack thereof) means its not something i would keep on the pistol. Any info on the value or additional useful info? Attached File

FIRST, I’m not sure if I am even thinking or planning to sell them anytime soon, but if I did, down the road, I’d sell them them within the EE section. I will not reply to any IMs to this thread asking if I am selling them. I’m not hard up for money or anything, I just have a ton of stuff floating around the garage that I’d like to know their current non “Gunbroke” prices.
IF THIS IS A VIOLATION, PLEASE DELETE SINCE I’M NOT TRYING TO PULL A FAST ONE HERE!! This is an appraisal request for two NONE ORIGINAL AR-15 retro items. For the first item, I bought a couple of slick sided “retro” AR-15 stripped upper receivers from Fulton Armory about 8-9 years ago and I have an odd question on them. First they’re newer production, well newer when I bought them years ago, but on the left side of those receivers, where the charging handle “claw” locks into position, it is only milled out into a proper sized circle WITHOUT the mill cut going all the way upwards like on my other Colt and NDS slick sided and A1 upper receivers. Were these upper sold as seconds? I honestly don’t remember them being sold as possible rejects. They have the cut “A,” forging code, which I believe is for Anchor Harvey Aluminum manufacturers on the right side of the carrying handle and they are not anodized. They appear to have a flat BLACK cerakote or duracoat type finish on them. As for the second question, I have a couple of Brownells retro AR15 “Proto” barrel assemblies with the front sight base that were sold as seconds, but “I” cannot find the flaw(s) that made them seconds. Anyway, I bought them about two years ago, at the peak of the pandemic of 2020. None of them have been used or assembled. What would be the going price on these items? Thanks!! |
