I've seen them (and bought them) at gunshows for less than $10, but I've also seen them sell online for over $30.

What would a fair price be on a r6550 green label with no original box, gs serial number, and a1 lower?  less than 100 rds fired?  Has bayonet.

The .22 inserts sell fo $10-20, and the twenty round mag sells for $12-20.  So, together they would sell for $22-$40

Looking for an approximate value of this reweld. I’ve had it for about a year, but probably won’t build on it. Not the best condition, but could make a cool BFPU. Work was done by braceman.

Has anyone seen a cast FSB MVP12 barrel sell somewhat recently and what did it go for? Thinking about maybe selling mine.

Well, a VP Barrel went for $1,200 a couple months ago on the EE. I thought that was a bit low and it’s not exactly the same as yours but it’s close in terms of production date. Maybe $1,800?

Thank you! I saw that VP barrel.

On one hand the VP barrel is just a hair older, on the other hand the cast fsb mvp barrel is imho rarer.

Did the VP barrel not have a cast front sight?  If not, it should have.  A VP 12 barrel is MUCH more desirable than an M VP 12 barrel.

$1200-1400 would be tops. It is correct only for an early 604 and possibly a very late 602.  It is basically the value of an M VP 12 barrel plus the value of a cast front sight, IMO. A VP 12 barrel with cast front sight is correct for all 602's, early 604's, and possibly late 601's, so it is more desirable, and more rare.

Posting this for a friend who is looking for an appraisal..

It's a Colt SP1 Carbine. Looking up the serial number it's a Preban Colt Manufactured sometime after 1978.

What are the early grip screw with the Hole in screw worth. How long were these used for and what model would be correct to use on? If someone is looking for one Ebay has a auction for one. Do not want to link and break the rules. Have not seen them in awhile and was wondering what todays value would be.

For starters that’s not an A1 upper. They never had a brass deflector.

I have a SP1 carrier that I've been told is desirable to those with lightning links but I have no idea the value of it and what I should list it for. I also have what I'm lead to believe is a GM Hydramatic bolt, due to the overlapping "M" and "P", however I'm not completely sure that is correct. If anyone can point me to a thread that discusses this further or can just appraise it based on whatever it actually is that would be much appreciated.

GM? Bolt

I have 2 Colt A1 uppers. The top one is Colt forge marks C H, I think is C7 upper because of the brass deflector with A1 sight. the bottom one is Colt with Forge marks C H and i think it is 603 with Rapidex A1 sight. What would they be worth?

Have a couple Laser Devices laser units from 1988 too, they run on two 9v batteries each. I should take a few pics.

What would be a good number to offer up for an SP1 in about 85-90% condition? Based on the database thread, this one appears to be a '78 model.

I'm not too crazy about it, but I might throw an offer at it and see what happens. I just don't want to be too out of line.

I sold one a week or two ago for $1350.  It was a 1980 in really good condition and I had very little into it.  I think it was a good price for both of us.

Looking for valuation and reasonable asking price to sell a surplus Colt M16 upper. Upper is in overall nice shape with a beautiful patina, but unfortunately has a crack in the left ear. It goes all the way through on a portion of it, has some flex if you really push on it, but overall feels solid enough to shoot comfortably.

Second question, is what is the value of the upper parts kit? Would it be financially advantageous to just sell the stripped upper, and UPK separately?

Thanks

This may not be the best place for this, I’m not sure where to post it. I have a number of extra A1/E1 parts and wondering how far they would go towards a complete Colt 20” A2 upper in pre ban grey. Here’s what I have:

Brownells XM16E1 bare lower in grey, with XM engraving done by Ident Marking
Mottled pistol grip
3 grey trigger guards
1 grey mag release assembly minus spring
1 grey bolt catch
1 no tick selector
1 A1 buffer tube and buffer spring
1 takedown and 1 pivot pin
1 type E (?) stock with trap door
1 A1 stock screw with hole
1 grey flap slip ring and 1 purple flat slip ring
1 repro 3 prong flash hider
1 Colt A1 upper complete minus bolt carrier and charging handle
2 A1 stripped uppers in the white, with rear forging flash (believe to be GM or H&R)

I do have pics on my phone, just don’t have the means to get them on this post.

I have some early parts I really don't want to part with but there's other stuff out there I want more at the moment so I am thinking of selling and need a price quote.  A rough idea is great.

1.) Original 601 barrel, 1/14 twist (measured) M S markings on barrel.  Bore looks perfect to me, outside also looks great but it's possible it has been refinished at some point.  It has a medium grey look to it.  The original cast FSB has a couple dings by the pin holes from someone removing the FSB at one point in time.

2.) Very early 604 upper, square forge upper with early contour below port door that matches the lower receiver contour.  This would have to be refinished as it was painted at some point in it's past with a weird gritty blackish paint.  Colt proof marks are visible by port door.  Sight parts would be included.

3.) Early 601/602/604 square pad port door.  Great shape.  Guessing $150ish?

4.) Early bend gas tube, not SS but the earlier magnetic type.  Not the best of shape, the coating on the outside is peeling off.

5.) 601 duckbill flash hider - great shape

I have some other parts as well that could be listed up but these are the most important to get appraised especially the 601 barrel, and 604 upper.  I don't care about getting top dollar out of them but I don't want to give them away either since I plan to replace them in the future.  I can get pics up here in the next couple days but a rough price would be great.
