Depending on condition, over $1000. $1250 maybe

What is the ballpark value on Adventure Line 20rd mags with aluminum followers? I just picked one up from a surplus store for $8 and am curious. Appears to have little to no use beyond inserting into a rifle. Follower is near perfect condition. Can post pics if needed.

Thanks

It's been a while since I've needed to buy charging handles.  Is $50 the going rate for grey charging handles these days?  Last time I bought them they were about half that, but all I'm seeing is $45-50. . .

(I know, not so much of an appraisal, but relates to the prices of things, and figured it was better here than starting a new thread)

A year ago I paid 160 for mine and it had the sight kit, port door, and forward assist. They have went up recently. Some like mine but in worse condition just sold for $260 On gunbroker. I would say yours is close to that with the charging handle. The charging handle is about $40 alone.

Sorry to quote a 3 month old post, but if all that (Colt full auto LPK) is $125 to $150, how about just the trigger, selector and hammer by themselves?

What's an early XM16E1 parts kit worth?

More pics in this thread.

Well, if you add up the value of the individual parts, you are looking at about $2000-2500.  The fact that it all came from the same rifle makes it even more desirable/valuable to many collectors as a complete package.  Did you find it locally, or on Gun Broker?

I have a few A1 items here for your perusal.

#1 is a Colt manufacture (CK) A1 upper with forward assist and case deflector.  The rear sight assembly is in place but the port cover and forward assist are stripped.

I don't know the exact provenance.  Note the dings and scratches in various places showing use.  I want to note that there is evidence of a scope mount having been attached to the carry handle (see not-great camera phone pic below).  Additionally, the finish is completely gone at the rear of the receiver - I am not sure if it was fitted to a tight aftermarket lower or was battering against the lower.  The charging handle cutout has a similar amount of wear so it may simply be from heavy use in an issue gun (again, no idea).  It locked pretty tight for me in my Oly lower with only the tiniest amount of play and I never had functionality issues whatsoever.

#2 is a Colt A1 stock, complete with buffer, spring and sling.  I acquired it 15 years ago from an acquaintance who had taken it off of a factory Colt rifle in the early 90s.  I don't see any wear on it at all.  There is a small "2A" in a circle on the nub that fits into the end plate recess.  The sling clip has a small amount of wear where the finish was scratched off from having been installed (I don't think it was on this rifle as the sling loop finish looks nice).  My favorite aspect of this set is that was was it into a Cobray M-11/9 box - how 90s!

What's fair price on a ban era Bushmaster with a C7 upper? Has a 14.5" M4 barrel with a pinned Izzy compensator.  Doesn't look to have been fired much FWIW.

Picked this up a couple of years ago.
Never shot it as I 'borrowed' some parts for other rifles.
It appears that it may never have been fired.

Replaced the 'borrowed' BCG and sights.
Looking for a ballpark value.
Not sure if it would be worth more separated, or as a complete rifle.
Thank you!

looking to see if someone could shed some monetary value on a old Rock River a2 national match i have found in a local gun store.  it is on consignment and i have seen it in the same spot for the last two years.  the asking price is 800$ and it is firm, as i have already offered lower and the owner wont budge.  as it stands it features-

20"barrel, .950 diameter under handgaurds w/ carbine gas system pinned,  fsb pinned at the normal rifle length with bayo lug, .750 profile past fsb, barrel marked rr 1-12
a2 upper receiver cerro forge

lower marked

A2 lower furniture.

rifle is in flawless condition

just interested in whats is worth, wouldn't mind having it to shoot lower grain 223 bullets
Any info greatly appreciated

I have a Colt AR-15 Gov't Carbine and the serial starts with the LGS letters. I have been having trouble finding any information on this specific firearm with the LGS letters. It does have a Bayo lug, the barrel is labeled with 5.56 Nato. Also has the retractable stock. Does anyone know about this specific AR? and what do these usually sell for?

When asking the value of something really common its best just to check gunbroker and see what they're selling for.

I don't feel so bad now.

update...the parts arrived today.

The A1 has C H code, and on the A2 all I can make out is an M.

The bolt carrier has a C.

I have not opened the bag of small parts yet because there's a lot of small stuff in it.  There is a flat delta ring assembly, A1 front sight, A2 grip, and a bunch of lower receiver parts.

This is the appraisal thread for the Retro forum, not a general appraisal thread, so probably not the best place to ask. I'm not aware if any of the other tech forums have a similar thread but I know you can ask for values in the EE Comments & Questions forum

Early Olympic Arms "A1" style AR
It's at my local gun shop. Crude normal Oly Arms fit and finish. A1 upper with teardrop forward assist.  A2 style lower.
Bayo lug is ground off. C MP C stamped on the underside of the barrle. Aftermarket flash suppressor, not A1 style.
I realize these had their fair share of issues. But now that Oly Arms is out of business I was wondering if I should
Pick this up just to add to the collection.
