I found a seller locally with a colt sp1 carbine. Serial number sp134### in decent shape. What are they going for? I wouldnt mind adding it to my collection. Has the aluminum stock, round handguards, and a1 grip still.  No additional accessories included.

That's about right for a Colt carbine with original vinyl acetate stock & original 6 hole handguards.  They typically sell on gunbroker for $1400-$2100

I sold my Colt SP1 Carbine way back in 2000 for $1850!  It was Excellent+ condition.

I bought some of these many years ago.
These will need to be cleaned up and refinished.
They are an adapter to use M-16 mags in a Galil.
I have done one of my IMI Galils.

THANKS
Ron

40$ is a good price. No reason to offer him less .Support your gun show vendors or they might not come back.

Posted a thread to find out what I acquired yesterday.   It would seem that I picked up some interesting items.

Not being into retro rifles, I didn't recognize their rarity.  Now I need to determine the value.

604 Upper receiver.
Showing all dings and information that I believe is needed from the replies in my earlier thread.

Six Hole Handguards (Colt?)
I had to pull these out of my spare parts bin where I keep all of the other stock handguards I'll never use.

Aluminum Buttstock and 3 Position Extension
Sendra or Bushmaster (??)

Front sight assembly.
Not sure if it is even retro, but was in the same box.

Thank you for any/all information.

I am trying to value my CM = Colt / Martin Marietta upper. The receiver by the sight and carry handle is marked CM, the barrel is a 20" rifle length marked "FNMI MP 5.56 NATO 1/7 also has a 6 by the end with the feed ramps, the front sight post has a crown on it. Has standard a2 hand guards. Just trying to get a value for what I have. Not selling or in the market to.

here is some pictures.

So in perusing another forum I came across someone looking for a Diemaco A1 DIS and vaguely remembered having one.  After a search of my basement I found it.  I've done some online searching re; value but it's all over the board and covering a time line of 10 years.  I figured this site would be best for a barometer of the value.

Thoughts?

Have an Eagle Arms A1 lower. Four digit serial. Currently resides on my CAR15 build. Kinda thinking of replacing with one if the cheap Andersons I picked up and letting it go to fund other things. What range would it be worth to post in the EE?

Now that I know what it is, what kind of money would an early "s"-marked  SP1 bbl w/FSB be going for? 1/12, nice condition, chrome chamber. I've got a small bunch of Retro parts that I want to unload in a single lot, and the only thing I'm not sure about is the barrel.

I just picked up an excellent-plus shape, complete, Colt Sporter Match HBar SP1 style lower. Serial number places it from 1991. It has all the dumbass features we all know and love. It has the large front pivot pin hole, larger FCG pin holes, and the sear block. I'm wondering what the going rate is on this? I had plans for an early build, but plans change. Thanks for the help.

What have colt C MP C barrels been going for?
Several incomplete build here. Was going for a rack of 604's
Ive got a few to sell on gunbroker. With all the "brand new" aftermarket reproduction barrels out there I'm weary to do so.
I bet if I sell one its gonna cost me more to get another. That's the way it goes with most of my collection.

nice

Imho prices on later barrels have actually come down some I think because of all the aftermarket barrels now available. They used to ho for 300, but some I've seen on GB recently have gone for more like 250ish depending on condition.

Just imho anyway

Hey all, been a while since I've logged in, but came across an interesting bolt carrier with bolt and firing pin and wanted some opinions. Only mark on the carrier is a "c"  the bolt is unmarked, it has the big fat head firing pin and the milled retaining pin. Any thoughts?

Sorry for the bad lighting, by the way.. just checked the thread and saw how they turned out...

Hi All,

I picked up a piece and am not sure about it's value, it's a chrome slick side Colt Carrier.
In very good condition.  What are these worth and to what to what build would this fit in
with?  The only one that comes to mind is a 601?

thx in advance.

I was looking for one before I sold my barrel to KKid, at the time I was willing to pay $200-$250. I'd say that would be about right. $175 would be good too. It really depends on the buyer I guess and if they need it for a build.

I almost bought that upper for the comp too! Good score, especially with the GM barrel.

No pad port door and round gas tube hole means it was finished as part of a commercial Sendra rifle. Value, $160 maybe.

I bought this box of parts today via an Armslist ad. I know the upper is a Colt, which is awesome, but is there anything particularly cool about the rest of this stuff? I was already planning on doing a 20" A2 build on a keyhole upper I picked up on the EE, but now I think I'd rather build it on this Colt upper. Anyway, I don't know much about the retro/vintage AR15s, so any info you guys can share about these parts as well as advice for the build would be appreciated. Thanks!

Could I use the upper and hand guards if I ordered the 20" A2 barrel assembly from Windham? It has a triangle handguard retainer.

Nevermind, I see now that would be less than ideal. I'll hold off and find another A2 upper for that.

Looking at a 1973 Colt SP1. Condition at about 90%. Comes with original manual and Colt scope. Round count at approx 1,000. About how much would something like this go for? Only flaw, does not have the original flash suppressor.

This is a Colt SP1 I've currently got a lead on. Seller says the original receipt says "pre-1976" or something like that. Here are the pics he's sent me. What's this thing worth?

It's current Gun Broker value is $1400 to $1600 - even more if it is a low serial number

He's asking $1200. Good deal but nothing spectacular. I think I'll pass. If anyone else is interested, IM me and I'll send a link to where the rifle is for sale.

Looking for ball park value on an old VP marked M16 barrel grading between NRA very good to excellent condition.  Not sure if it has a cast FSB so if it does how much would that effect the value?

There is a big price difference between VG and excellent, and cast sight versus non cast sight.  Also need to know if there is a "12" near the muzzle, and if there us an "M" near the "VP" markings.  Pictures would be most helpful.

I'm going off memory from a gunshow I was at last weekend. It was a slap together AR but the barrel got my attention. I've never seen a VP parked barrel but to me it looked like the VP in a triangle on the right side of the barrel between the FSB barrel mounts. I'm hoping the same guy is there this weekend.
