Hello,
I've been away from the forum for a while and with all my searching I couldn't see when the NDS-16A1 lowers will be available. The web site says February, but that has passed and I haven't seen any posts about them. Anyone know when they'll be for sale?

No firm date on the A1's yet.

We have to finish processing the XM's and 601's we have orders for first.

I will post updates when I have them.

We are machining all remaining A1 forgings we have in-house (around 300).

I can say with certainty that there will be blems for sale.

And that we have a PO in for another 1000 forgings.

Huh? what? OK honey, I'll do it later.

I opened this thread an hour ago, fainted hit my head and now Im awake again but drooling all over the place. "kalahnikid"

What is in line after the A1s Mike? I am waiting on my XMs, I had ordered 601s but they ran out, emailed Harlan and he changed the order to XMs. I hope to order an A1 and then some 601s again.

Man, some of you guys are getting way too pushy with the "When will they be ready" & the "Any updates?" questions. Mike puts out a great product for us & is extremely busy trying to fulfill our every needs. Without Mike & NDS, where would we all be with our Retro builds still? Likely behind the controls of a Dremil tool. So please just give the man a chance to breath a little.

I too, am wanting a NDS-16A1 lower but will wait patiently till he announces the go ahead, then it will be on like Donkey Kong!! But until then keep up the good work NDS, & thanks for all you have done for the Retro community.
Got my green or brown right side 601 hand guard. Thank You GUTS.

What I think it boils down to is that some of us don't know how many receivers will be available, how long they will be available, how the whole thing really works. I need a gray and black A1 lowers to complete builds. Not all of us can drop cash in the mail on a spur of the moment so that could be some of it too.

AS POSTED ABOVE:

No firm date on the A1's yet.

We have to finish processing the XM's and 601's we have orders for first.

I will post updates when I have them.

We are machining all remaining A1 forgings we have in-house (around 300).

I can say with certainty that there will be blems for sale.

And that we have a PO in for another 1000 forgings.

That is the truth, won't be the first or last time I miss out on a good thing. Kinda like playing Russian Roulette, eventually I will catch one and if not....

One thing I've been wondering about: How do you handle idiots that are too stupid to follow directions, or wiseguys that try to game the system by sending in early orders? I hope you send their orders back to them "postage due"!

EDIT - I'm not referring to ANY of the above posters as idiots, OK, so nobody take offense! But knowing human nature, I would suspect there must have been attempts to jump ahead in the que. Hopefully, those devious and misbegotten efforts are not rewarded.
