Since Member "FreezinSig" is sending me a mil-spec Fiberlite clone stock, I don't need any of my commercial spec stuff. All stocks and the tube are COMMERCIAL diameter 1) First is a Magpul type M4 stock with removable sling swivel. Very nice, glass filled polymer, very tough. I can't remember the brand, but if I wasn't switching to mil-spec diameter I would keep it. 2) Next is a garden variety M4 stock 3) a CAR-15 clone stock. Was OD green, but painted with gloss black paint. 4) a commercial spec carbine lower receiver extension (buffer tube). http://i247.photobucket.com/albums/gg134/imarangemaster/stocks_zps011b76de.jpg View Quote imarangemaster, Do you still have the garden M4 stock? If so, that would work for a project I'm piecing together. So I'm giving as well as receiving, I have a Cavalry Manufacturing comp I can put up. Not exactly retro, but might work for someone in a ban state. It looks like this, but a little less perfect--I'll have to dig it our of my parts boxes. Thanks to Brownell's for the picture to borrow. Machined from bar stock with an integral, solid baffle that won’t shoot out. Top and side ports counter recoil and muzzle rise. Solid bottom controls dust printing. A-2-style looks correct on pre- and post-ban rifles. |
