He has a lot of the original stuff.  3-prong FH, bandoleer kits, etc.  I've not purchased from him personally but I have heard and read some positive stuff.

Great pics, hopefully I'll have some of my own to post pretty soon!

no need to kill, there are lowers that go up for sale from time to time its just paying for the "pre-ban"
Link Posted: 1/13/2006 5:39:51 PM EDT
[Last Edit: uxb] [#17]
It's not just paying for "pre-ban" it's that some sellers will only sell A1 "pre-ban" lowers to our brothers and sisters in the Occupied States as that is all they are allowed there (and I'm glad they can get that!).

Just got back from the Indy 1500 show..

There was a quite a few mint SP-1's, A1's and Colt lightweight carbine A1's for sale, all of them were in the $1000 to $1100 range..

Had I not been broke, I would have bought one, or 2, or 4...

Go here- Moore Militaria

He's good people..on thing-He has a minimum $15 order..he's a one man operation.

Get a grip and one of his original issue slings..that will be $15..they are really nice for surplus.

+1 for MM... he didn't hit me for the minimum order, but then I bought two A1 grips. The ones I got looked almost new.

Time for another Retro Thread!

nice looking carrier! is the firing pin shrouded?

I had lousy luck with Sherluk. Two years ago I ordered two sets of A-1 stocks, handguards and pistol grips and got a box filled with junk that wasn't worth the shipping - never mind the asking price.

I ordered a "Hornet" upperr from Fulton Armory and received TOP QUALITY condition A1 plastic.

AWSOME where did you get the wood furniture?
Link Posted: 1/29/2006 3:44:06 AM EDT
[#37]
The wood furniture came from Ironwood Designs in San Jose, CA.     Look at this thread  www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=3&f=4&t=232373

The AR wood is relatively new at IWD and Matt's site doesn't have any info on this furniture yet.        Here's their website  www.ironwooddesigns.com

just noticed that the carrer from ts doesnt have the wide opening at the fire pin retaining pin on the opposite side.

opposite side of it goes in, the older ones i seen have the hole widened.

Here is my 607. The pic is not very good and it looks "warped" but this is just my poor photo skills.
