[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Any other options for 11.5?

I have been looking for a 11.5 upper assy., and found a few in my price range, ($300-325) but all were heavy barrel, which I do not want.
A few I was not sure about, and sent questions asking, but no replies.
So is there another option to one like this from BCM at a better price? Can be this profile, or light weight.

Can you try out the Faxon 11.5" Gunner for me?

It's the only 11.5" mid length that I know of which seems really cool

It comes in at 1lb.

KAK Industry makes some nice looking light profile "value line" barrels around $100. The 11.5" are sold out, but they have 12.5" available with a midlength gas port (12.5" carbine gas is sold out).

As a happy owner of a Faxon 16" pencil barrel, I'd have no hesitation going for that 11.5" Gunner.

I am interested to see if OP goes this route. I have been eyeing that barrel for some time as well.

Same here.. 11.5" middy seems so cool. Right up there with 14.5"/16" rifle length barrels.

I would like to find one with FSB already installed, like in the link, but if not, I will go with the Faxon. I have a`16 and 18 inch, and love them.
