I have a older RRA pistol. Maybe 12 years or More old.

The buffer tube has no castle
Nut as it's attached to the gun. It almost
Looks permanently attached. Did RRA do this is the old days??

Yes. They used blue locktight on the threads to secure. They can be tough to remove.  I used a pipe strap to remove mine years ago, but you might want to search the archives as I know there are old discussions about this.

even their new ones don't use castle nuts.
I got one last year or maybe the year before that.
