Well...almost.

Anderson upper and lower
CMMG 4.5" barrel and bolt assy
UTG red dot
Waiting on a generic 7" knurled FF tube
Still need an LPK and receiver plug.

Most importantly waiting to get a stamp back on a suppressor that is the basis for the build. Expecting that in the next month or two.

It's cute so far.

looks like a blaster from Star Wars or something. You should get it chromed.

Looks like a grown up Liberator from WW II.

So tempted to leave it like that

I decided to splurge a little and buy one of these:

Paid too much, but got frustrated trying to find a cheap one. I think it will suit it well.

A few more weeks...$100 in parts left and hopefully the stamp comes in as well.

what will it be when it grows up?

It's going to essentially be a buffer tube-less suppressor host to a GM-22.

Pretty similar to this but with a 7" tube:

Here's one set up all Star Wars blaster-y:

That top one looks pretty cool. Now you're making me think I might need one...

I'm trying to figure out whats up with the safety in the bottom one... something doesn't look right.

It's finally together.

I ended up using:

• Wolff reduced power trigger/disconnector springs
• Unknown takeoff mil spec trigger (hammer tail cut-off)
• Unknown Fleabay trigger-less LPK (worked fine though the roll pins were soft as hell) These jokers labeled it CNC machined and parkerized though it's obviously neither. They claim Japanese steel, though it strongly suggests Chinese. Almost went Strike Industries but didn't like the look of the safety selector. In hindsight that or even DPMS would have been much preferred.
• Slipstream Precision 22lr receiver plug
• EMA tactical single point sling
• DIY single point sling adapter  (drilled/tapped backplate with a sling swivel and para cord)

It's got a crisp 5lb trigger as-is. Not great, but acceptable.

I'll be taking it to the shop to get a pic with the suppressor on it. It looks awkward without it.

I may get an A2 flash hider and 4" FF tube for use without the suppressor. That shortness without a hand stop is a little concerning, but we'll see.

Still waiting on KNS pins, just 'cause.

It's pretty cool. I regretted purchasing that big stupid grip initially, but it does make the gun once together.

The UTG red dot is a bit of a dissapointment, as can be expected. The settings don't have much of a range, light transmission sucks, and it's not particularly bright. Looks like green works best outdoors and red will be fine indoors. It was donated to the cause so I can't complain.

I wish I would have aquired the short handguard/A2 FH in anticipation, but there's always next week.

Here it is Star Wars blaster style.

Had a chance to try it out today. Pleasantly surprised. Ran from subsonics to high velocity without a hitch. Reasonably accurate for a big pistol. I am pleased.

This is as I originally envisioned it with a longer FF tube and suppressed.
