I bought a FDE/TAN Shockwave, I've changed my mind and kinda want it black without spray painting or Cerakoting. Wondering if anyones tried using Rit-Dye to dye one yet?
I know PMag's and anything Magpul dye just find but Vltor stocks for example, DO NOT dye well at all. You dye a tan stock black, it looks black for about a day then turns purple!

$2.19 for Rit-Dye is a way better deal than $27.99 plus shipping for another Shockwave! :D
Thanks!

well, why don't you be the first to do it, then make a thread on how it went.

I thought someone mentioned these things were non-hygroscopic? I'd really like to dye one bakelite orange to match my PAP M-92 if possible.
