I'm looking at getting a 10.5" upper for my pistol and I'm looking at a few options and wondering if I can get input on them. I'm looking at two from PSA, one sold by Radical firearms and another from Hardened Arms.
PSA #1 PSA #2 Radical Firearms Hardened Arms UPDATE Got here on Wednesday, but I was waiting for my Sig brace to come in today. Andro Corp 10.5" upper on a Double Star lower, Sig Brace M4 model, and cheapo red dot sight. Also added an ambi mag release and will be getting a ambi safety selector too. I like Andro Corp's upper. It replaces my Model 1 Sales 7.5" that was very top heavy. Hope to shoot it next week. 
For those that love to complain about how heavy a Sig brace is: Magpul MOE stock:

If you can't handle the extra .02 lbs I guess I'm just more mannlier than you...

Take a look at industry partner Andro Corp. They have some really really nice uppers. May be a couple $$$ more but worth it and check out their Industry subsection they have a discount code for AR15.com members.

I looked at Andro corp's uppers and they're a bit more than I want to spend. Would like to keep it no higher than $279-ish. I like the Radical arms upper, but it's 8 weeks out for delivery. The 1st PSA model is out of stock, I'm guessing they're around $279. |

I've used an 8.5" Hardened Arms with a KAK tube, buffer and spring. It was very reliable and performed well.

I have both Palmetto State Armory and Radical Firearms uppers I have neen very happy. I find PSA to be slightly better quality.

Another vote for Andro Corp. best bang for your buck plus, A++++ customer service. There's a reason he has a following here, it's not hype, just damn good price/product/people.

I have a PSA upper that is 8.5 inches on my pistol build that is a Melonite one with a keymod forearm. I am very satisfied with how it. It operated flawlessly out of the box.
It is accurate and nicely finished. |
