Think the rubber would take rit dye? if the FDE is light enought you might be able to get some different colors. OD might be tough to match though. Grey probably wouldnt be too hard though.

i thought about trying the dye, i may get the fde one and try it, what we need though is someone that cut theres up to send scraps to someone to try dyeing

You could do plasti dip too, it comes in a ton of colors now and tends to hold up pretty well.

Was wondering about paint. Use the stuff you paint car bumpers with so it doesn't crack and adheres to the rubber/plastic.
