Has anyone found anything that can effectively work as spacers on the KAK Super Sig buffer tube besides buying the adjustment kit from KAK?

I am sure home depot/lowes has something you could cut to fit.  Haven't confirmed yet though.

If pvc doesn't do it, there are various heavy duty plastic hoses in the irrigation section.

Well the I.D. measurement of the KAK spacer is 1.185" per my caliper.  Gives you an idea of what to look for when seeking alternatives.

I sat down with a machinist friend and made the two I am using.

The set of 2 is 12 dollars plus 6.50 shipping..  Is there a reason that guys want to make there own or am I missing something..  Seems like by the time you go to the trouble or drive somewhere to look for PVC your spending more already?   Is it because you want a custom length?

I made mine because I had built using a Phase 5 tube  these weren't available at the time.

Just didn't want to spend $18 on two plastic rings if I can just buy some simple tubing for $1 at Home Depot this weekend. I was curious if someone had done it before, I'll post my finding if I get something that works, I go to Home Depot  every weekend so its no trouble.

I used an old shop vac extension tube.
The wider end of the tube fits over my PSA pistol buffer, so I cut off about an inch and a half of the tube.
Had to dremel out and widen the cut end, since the tube starts to taper off after an inch or so.
And you may need to grind flat a little off the top of the tube to clear the charging handle.

The spacers are made out of aluminum.  Will add that they are nicely done and fit perfectly.

I use 1" schedule 40 pvc, you have to cut a slot about 5/8" wide in the bottom, it will spread enough to go over the buffer tube from the top, you will have to be grind or sand down a little on the top of the pvc to clear the charging handle, paint it your color choice. Nice thing -this can be made to any length.

............ and they allow three different lengths without much involved in making the change. They are the best option IMO.
