Yeah, a 7.5" will put the end of the muzzle just outside of the rail. Sounds like a plan. Thanks for your input.

It will not.
A .22 barrel will have about 1.3" inside the receiver. Taccom is working on some barrels that will have equivalent length to a 5.56 barrel, meaning an 11.5" .22 barrel will have approximately the same length past the receiver that a 5.56 barrel would. Much easier to match up a hand guard with. Dave N |

Yeah you're right. Thanks for reminding me about that. I'll get a dowel to mock up the barrel length with the rail and flash hider. I've decided to go with a 9" Alpha rail instead so I'm going for a longer bbl anyway.
