Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Greater than 7.5", Sub 10.5" barrels?

are there any sources for 5.56 pistol barrel in the 8" to 9" range besides noveske? and is there much of a difference over/under a 7.5" or 10.5" in terms of performance? I came up with nothing in my search. Thanks for any info you can provide.

Black Hole Weaponry offers 9.5".  HM Defense makes various short lengths from time to time, currently they have 9.5s, they had 8.5s at one time.

Thanks for the reply, I also came across a SAA 8" barrel, does anyone have any experience with SAA?
