Hi, my first AR pistol in the works and I'm looking at a Mas Defense 7.5" upper, KAK buffer kit with the lak spacer but not sure what about a good quality lower. Aero is the only one so far someone pointed out. That or others? It's 5.56 btw.  Maybe a BCM bolt carrier grip.

Thanks!
Rob

Choose your rollmark, and that will dictate the lower.  Seriously though, just about any AR forged or billet lower will work...

Thanks. I am looking for a complete pistol lower instead of a stripped one, so I wasn't sure even If DD or colt or bravo had them.

I do believe that you left out cast lowers.  They will work also.

Couldn't help myself.  Yes, I have a cast lower that is still going strong.  Modern casting technology is pretty good.

People look at it kind of funny, like they think it is going to break in half just sitting there.  It works, though.

If you're a patient person, I would go with PSA, but if you're like me, I'd shop anywhere but PSA...

I heard they were real slow in shipping I guess that's what you mean. I forgot about PSA. Thanks

If you're getting nit-picky and naming different types of lowers than you also forget printed Polymer/Plastic.

Some options:

PSA

Aero Precision

SAA

Personally I would just build your own. By the time you swap out pistol grips, triggers, trigger guards you could have build the perfect one for you for a lot less money.

I would grab a $50 lower from PSA, a magpul LPK from PSA (currently at 10% of the rest of today), and a phase 5 or kak industries pistol buffer kit. Total Cost = ~$170 or less

Do you care what the markings are?

Do you hate scuff marks and will be treating it like a safe queen?

Any lower will do. Personally I bought a spikes honey badger just because it had the honey badger and was only a bit cheaper than a psa. Psa is the way to go. They had blem lowers with free shipping for $50.

Just buy a decent assembled lower and be done with it.

Just make sure its not plastic.  Remember the P in PSA stands for Patience.    That being said I prefer to have the least gaudy roll marks possible which lead me to the blem Spikes Tactical "No Logo" lower receiver.

or PSA stealth lower

The PSA Stealths are always out of stock, or I would definitely have several by now.  Don't even get me started on the price of the KAC blankish lowers.  Damn those things go for top dollar.
