I want to see if it spells out some concerns I have, such as mounting it on an A2 buffer tube.

No buffer tube will change the pistol classification. There is no illegal way to shoot a legal firearm.

The ruling part doesn't even specify how it must be attached to "a firearm" at all. Hence the legality of the SB47 without needing a separate ruling.
