I've been thinking about doing this build for about a year now. I started last week at the Houston Gun Show and and got a Spikes Lower. From then on i dropped it off at my lgs AMSS to get it cerakoted snow white.

So during the week i went on Phase 5 and started ordering away. Anyways the lower was not suppose to me done until next tuesday, but my guy over at AMSS called me today and told me it was ready. Enough talking here it is so far with the lower complete:

Items Used for Lower Build:

Spikes Tactical Strip Lower
Cerakoted Snow White
CMMG Lower Parts Kit
JP Springs
Magpul MOE Grip
KNS Anti Rotational Pins
Phase 5 Revolving Sling Attachment
Phase 5 Pistol Buffer Tube
Phase 5 Extended Bolt Release
Phase 5 Trigger Guard

That's creative! Have you seen the diamondhead rail? I saw that in another storm trooper build!

This reminds me of storm trooper like and the Rainier Rac in white and black ya?

That's freakin' awesome!! How did you clean the excess off after you painted it?  What was the process?

I'm going to finish out the upper with everything in Phase 5 and have my guy cerakote it.

I hate to admit it, but that looks really sharp.  Look forward to seeing the complete gun when you're finished.

Do you find it hard to clean with it being cerakoted white now?

I like the concept but I think the Aero lower with the Pew markings would have done it for me. Pew Pew Pew......

What magic are you guys using to fill areas in with paint? I tried my Spikes lower.. It is such an absorbent flat chalky finish, I like to nearly ruined its looks.  It still shows where some of the remover, and finger nail paint was. Please advise, for I like the added look of fire controls colored, and so on.

I sold this effer for $700 on armslist! Thats right $700 for just the lower Gonna use the extra money i made to build another one except this time tungston gray. I fired it  on my standard spikes and noticed its going to be a real bitch to clean. So i decided to move in a different direction.

Just use model paint and a tootpick. When you touch the in lays with the paint on the toothpick the paint does the job for you and just flows with the pattern. Wait at least 24hrs for to dry and remove excess with nail polish remover.
