So I am having a local small dealer (Atomic Tactical) put a pistol upper together for me, and I thought I would see what you guys think so far. This is my first pistol upper, and after alot of reading and deliberation, I decided to go with a 10" build. The 7.5" sounds like a hoot to shoot, but seems less practical, and I might go SBR down the road. Here is what I have so far:

-Daniel Defense CHF 10.3" barrel
-Vltor Mur 1A upper
-Seekins Precision 9" Sar rail.
-PWS Triad FH

I'll need some BUIS as well. Not sure which ones I want.

I haven't discussed the gas block yet.

I want to go with a BCM charging handle (LARGE)

I am undecided on the BCG as yet.

I can't wait to see it all put together. I'll have him get me my parts for the lower as well, but will put that together myself.

What I have so far:

I have a Daniel Defense LPK on order.
I have a Spikes ST-2T and carbine spring.
Got a standard Mil-Spec BCG coming also.
Got a BCM Charging handle
Magpul ASAP on the way to.
I just happen to have the extra cheek piece from my UBR, so I threw that on, but I actually have a Exile Machine FDE 6" cover on order for it.

I can't wait to get out and shoot it. Not to mention getting the ball rolling on the Form 1 so I can go SBR with it.

Looks like it will be done this weekend. I still need to get a BCG, Charging handle, and sights....Time to shop the EE
