Been looking at spikes 5.5" .22 pistol upper, but I've heard some say that length cycles poorly. Is it different with .22s? Or is there a more optimum length for a .22 pistol? Max range needed is 50yds

Thanks

Are you saying a 5.5" .223/5.56 cycles poorly or a 5.5" .22 cycles poorly? The 22 would likely run fine as it is a blow back, a 5.56 would likely have issues.

I have many 4.5" barrel 22 uppers that run good with a stainless cmmg 22 kit.
Dont do many Spikes 22 kts with the realy short barrels as they always seem to need some fine tuning
and its easier to use a cmmg kit that 99% of the time runs without any tuning.
