Got mine from here back in early June. Been pretty happy with it so far. The guy adjust the gas settings to make the pistol more reliable.

Compare the price of the parts in the different configurations you finding these AR pistols and you'll usually see why the prices vary.
Plastic hand guards with a fixed front sight and a A2 (carry handle) upper is usually least expensive due the lack of versatility and the high expense in parts to make it more versatile in comparison to most options available. A long free float quad rail hand guard, low profile front sight and A3 (flat top) upper is the most versatile and the price is usually higher. Some free float hand guards are priced much higher than others. Brand name, 1-piece, 2-piece, etc... Some pistols have a fancier receiver extension (buffer tube) than others therefore the cost goes up. Some are shorter than others and have a different buffer & spring to compensate. Some pistols come with a special muzzle device that can cost over $100. Some have better triggers than others. I would price out a build from scratch (exactly the way you want it) and see how that compares to the pre-assembled ones you find online. |

I have my FFL builder pricing out a Noveske Diplomat custom build and he said it probably is going to be around $ 1100. I think he uses his own custom barrel maker in lieu of a Noveske but everything else is a Noveske part. Noveske are very proud of their barrels in regards to their prices. |
