I built a nice little AR pistol, but I missed my standard carbine set up and was thinking about selling the pistol build until I pulled my small little hydration "Go Bag" out of my truck. I pulled the bladder out of the back of the pack and thought to myself, wow, that is a nice padded divider in there..... hmmm, I wonder. And viola, it hit me... why carry a bladder when I usually have several water bottles with me in my truck anyways!! This divided padded bladder section works perfectly to hold my AR Pistol in the two main pieces taken down. And there you have it, a small backpack that holds not only my usual goods including my PPK and 4 mags but now my AR Pistol as well. You can see how small the bag is when you look at the standard sized G2 Surefire flashlight next to it, also to give you an idea those floor tiles are 14" just measured them, was wrong, they are 12" squared tiles. And yes, all that stuff fits perfectly into that little $4 Goodwill find backpack Needless to say.... I decided to keep the AR Pistol and just build another carbine... screw it, the more the merrier

That's a lot of shit crammed in that bag!

Is there enough room that an sbr would fit?

The pistol broken down with the upper off the lower and stashed side by side in the bladder pocket in the back of the bag fit perfectly with the zipper closed (no mag inserted either... gotta do a quick assemble but hey, its worth it). SBR would fit but the stock would be sticking up out of the top.

Got it. I was thinking it fit assembled. And if the bag was big enough to fit a really short sbr assembled that would be even more awesome. I've always wanted a 7.5" sbr.

It will fit together but the buffer tube sticks out a couple of inches. I just prefer to keep it completely hidden to keep it as legal as possible (our DNR has goofy regulations regarding guns being fully cased inside vehicles). Yeah, I want the 7.5 SBR as well..... but I figured it was less hassle to just stick her on a pistol registered lower BUT..... it easily converts
