THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT
I have a pistol I'm building with the intent of turning it into a SBR. I would like to turn it into my version of a Noveske Diplomat. THe best I have found so far for the Noveske 7.5 " barrel/block/tube for $350 from Rainier, and $125 for the KX3. Anyone know of some better prices? Thanks!

If you are .mil or LEO try DSG Arms. They give a good discount.

Noveske also offers LEO and military discounts direct. I do not know if they are the same as DSG's discounts, but it is worth looking into for comparison.

I have a beat to crap scratched up KX3 I can sell you...would work great if you wanted to paint it.

DSG arms would be my recommendation.

Your build is looking really good and if I were you I would just buy the barrel because you are so close to being done it doesn't matter!

Thanks guys, I pulled the trigger on the Noveske 7.5" & KX3 yesterday and it's on its way. Now I just have to put in my form 1 and hurry up and wait, but I will be waiting with a nice pistol so it's all good.

My understanding is that a stock can not be added unless the form 1 has been approved.

The Noveske 7.5" barrel, and the KX3 came in and everythg looks perfect. I hand tightened everything to see how it would look.

Here are a couple pictures.

Ran into a small issue when I began installing the barrel & FS. The Barrel nut on the SAR is a slip fit for the rail and it is just slightly smaller then the KX3. So with the KX3 installed on the barrel the rail would not pass by. However I did figure out a solution, but already used my only crush washer, so I will need to pick up another one today. I need to install the KX3 on the loose barrel after the barrel nut and gas block go first, then feed it down the front of the rail and out the bottom so the barrel can be torqued down.

Obviously this set up isn't ideal for quick interchangability but I have no need for that, so it's all good.

Or you can torque on the KX3 with a strap wrench. That's what I did to get it seated in my TRX rail.

oh man! That looks real good. I just decided to go 10.5" and these photos are the first bit of regret... but in true arfcom fashion I'll probably get both.

Great build!
