and my imitation flaming pig...the guys at the gun store were pretty interested in it and dubbed it the flaming ass. Its from KAK industries. I may need to clearance the inside of the hand guard a hair to ensure the barrel doesn't contact it, it is very close.

My first...and second...builds.

Couldn't leave well enough alone when building the 300BLK pistol, had to have a .223/5.56 upper to go along with it. Shoot cheaper and then use the one fired brass to create 300BLK hand loads!

KAK Flash Can on the 300BLK and KAW Valley Linear Comp on the .223/5.56. UTG Pro Slim free float hand guard on both. Wasn't sure about them when I ordered them, but damn these hand guards are nice. UTG has stepped up their game with these. They don't look or feel cheap even though they were under $100 each.

Sorry for the low-grade pic, need to get a better one for sure.

S&W M&P15 stripped lower
S&W M&P 10" free float rail
11.5" 5.56 FN barrel
Aero upper

Shoots great, have a set of BUIS on order so I won't have to rely on the green laser I have hung off the bottom.

Here's my 300 blk pistol. It runs fine with a rifle buffer and spring with subs and supers.

9.5" Core stainless barrel that's been blasted
custom handguard
everything else is just regular parts
Sig brace has a piece of spacer tubing in front to keep it from sliding up
upper has plug in forward assist since I don't use them anyway, and piece of foam on brass deflector to keep my 300 brass from being beat up so badly

I agree, not a big fan either.  Just ordered a CAA Saddle for it this week, so looking forward to that.  I do like the Mi upper quite a bit.  No issues at all, and I like the fit and finish.

I believe its more commonly used as a buffer tube to shoulder brace, or at least that's how I use the brace.
