Oh, you were referring to the other one?  No?  Oh, that one?  That's a Dead Air Pyro Enhanced Muzzle Brake.  Oh, not that one, either?  Well it might be more effective to quote what you're asking about so people don't have to try to read your mind.

Looks to like an Ebay rail.  I got one like it a while ago.  Fits nice, but on mine they didn't machine the left side or bottom pic rail slots in the right location (about 1/8 inch off from the other sides).  Oh, well... what do you expect for $25 chinesium.

Correct, its a $35 "Slant" Rail, Ive got the Shark cut, Straight, and a few other nameless rails. Ive never had a problem with them, I just wish their coating was better as it scratches fairly easily in comparison to anything else I've tried. There are a slightly better eBay rails under the name Alpha that are better made, better machined, and the coatings are much better but they are around $60-80. I used one of their rails on the Red/Black AR9 I posted earlier
Find them HERE: https://ebay.us/SsFGQF

Im a budget builder...I dont have the job or the extra cash to afford name brand crap or I definitely would be rocking all SLR and other name brands...but I play the cards I have....that doesnt mean its not usefuland it doesnt mean that it has to look like shit.

The parts for my Justice Kavenaugh build finally arrived. I followed his confirmation pretty closely and was a fan. Time will tell if he lets us down or not.

Anyway, Blue Collar budget build. PSA parts. Going to get a riser to mount a Redfield RMR to it. Hopefully it functions well. I have a Krinkov flash hider but it makes an already long pistol even longer.  Gonna stick with this flash hider for now.

I agree but not everyone is going to dump almost 2 grand into photo equipment to do so ;)
Then you put in a half hour to hour shooting (each shot is focus stacked, requiring 20-140 pictures each), then using Helicon Focus to merge the stacks...then each edit takes about an hour, removing dust, scratches, fixing blurred areas and any other visual blemish. Not everyone is going to want to put that kind of time or effect in on showing off their stuff.....I just wish I had some nicer guns to shoot

Thanks.

I like them. I run them on most of my pistols. I just ordered 3 more today.

They work great to project the flash forward unlike an A2 which is my favorite on my rifles. Plus they don't need to be timed.

I wouldn't say the are good at compensating. I can't tell a difference in that regard. They should be called a flash diffuser or director.

Very functional rail.  I also noticed the same thing about the fragile finish on mine.  I used it as an opportunity to try out different paints and colors without feeling like I was potentially defacing a more expensive rail.

@3512

I hope I wasn't too snarky.  I just noticed your post count.

To be clear (and helpful instead of snarky), if you hit the "quote" button instead of the "reply" button, it will quote the post that you're referring to, which will enable that person (or someone else) to reply to your question.

I didn't mean to be a dick and I'd actually like to know what muzzle device you're inquiring about, so I hope we hear from you!
