And I am going to post an updated imagery set of this one that has gone to become one of my favorite guns; inspired look by someone else back in this thread, it's a Colt upper to which I just added an original Colt full auto BCG from Chris at Shark Arms which I couldn't recommend more. Now the good thing for me is not so much that feature but the fact that it has a very light phosphate green gray color which happens to be my favorite flavor of Colt older stuff-phosphate kind of thing. That green-gray-black that is visually (to me) so desirable.
So here it is. Also, the SBA3 has been updated with an SBA3 Splitfix in black which I find works tremendously well.

Just finished up on my newest. 11.5" A2 heavy barrel pistol. With help from members here, I think we figured out the upper, at least the barrel and fsb, are Olympic Arms. FSB is cast, no markings, raised "up" on top. Upper receiver has no markings whatsoever. Lower is RR. I like the "old school" look.

Well I finally have my 300 BLK close to it's final form. I got my SBA3 on intstead of the Phase 5 Hex One. The replacement Meprolight Red Dot came back yesterday and I zeroed it at 50 yards today with 110gr Tac Tx. That should keep me a point blank holdover out to about 175 yards with about 1" high at 100 yds to 2" low at 175.
It's got a 9-1/2 BA barrel, Failsafe BCG, an X Products side charge upper, SLR adj gas block, Matrix handguard, std buffer and spring that comes with Phase 5 tube, and an A2 flash hider. Lower is an Anderson ( I know, y'all be jelous!) , Mega trigger with NibX hammer and disco and low power JP hammer spring, and a K2 grip. Also a Rock River Star safety selector. I love the way they feel. It groups really nice, no problem putting bullets where I want at 100 yards. Things that will still change; I want to try a Tubbs flatwire action spring and a T2 buffer. The phase 5 spring seems weak to me as far as closing bolt into battery. The recoil is a little snappier than I thought it would be so I want to try the T2 and fine tune the gas block again. I may put a 3X Prismatic on here and use the red dot on a 7" 9mm PDW upper I've built. Also, I am going to build a dedicated 9mm lower. I am going to put that MEGA trigger in the 9mm. It'll be perfect for the 9mm pdw. I think I will replace the 300 BLK trigger with a Larue or Geiselle two stage to give me a better long range precision. I do occasionally deer or pig hunt with this 300. I'll edit my picture in a minute to include the 9mm upper I have built.

It started as a complete firearm from Troy, who offers a factory "other" for CT. You don't see them around much, but that SOCC handguard is really nice. It's very light, super slim, mounts to a standard barrel nut, and has m-lok slots on 7 sides. |

I tried to do a cool pic like you guys, but It's meh.
I did finally get around to taking one showing the parts I added. New muzzle device and flip up sights. I really like the front sight and may end up getting more. It's still rocking the KAK blade brace, but I'm seriously considering switching to the SBA3 as it's affordable and it looks like it would feel better than the blade. I really want the PDW brace, but the cost is still pretty high on those Still need a flashlight, and I think I'm going to get a Primary Arms micro dot, with a co-witness mount. Might also get one of the stubby Forward grips too.

The only thing that throws me is that with the KaK you have to screw and unscrew that setscrew in order to set the LOP. Started as a Stag 10 factory "other" with a 16" barrel & KAK Shockwave. Currently: Ballistic Advantage 12.5" 1/10 barrel Aero Precision 12" Atlas R-one M-Lok Magpul K2, MVG, trigger guard BCM 7.62 Mod 4 Charging handle SBA3 Brace Burris Fastfire 3 in ARF mount Waiting on a LaRue MBT, VG6 brake, and then likely an EOTech XPS w/ G33 in the future.

Here's my latest build. At first I was just going to make a new 300blk upper for my SBR, but I decided to put together a pistol lower as well to add to my collection.
It's a super fun gun to shoot. I'm liking the 300 Blackout round - it has a lot of punch. This gun is only 5.5 lbs, so it's a lot of firepower in a small package. 
Here it is next to my CZ Scorpion pistol which really puts it into perspective. I understand the hubub lately on rifle caliber PDWs making sub guns obsolescent. 
Build details: Aero Precision M4E1 lower/upper receiver Ballistic Advantage 8.3” SS Hanson 300blk barrel w/A2 style FH BCM MCMR Rail, 7” w/BCM KAG SB Tactical SBA3 Brace Magpul MOE-SL grip Geissele ACH charging handle Toolcraft nitride BCG PSA EPT trigger Spikes Tactical ST-T2 buffer Vortex Venom red dot on a cheap UTG riser |

After looking, trying and doing, I settled down - for now at least - in lack of any other opportunity for these pistols. I wanted them to look as 'classic' and original as possible but the pistol factor, naturally, gets in the way. I was after two specific firearms here; "Cpt. Steele's rifle in Blackhawk Down" and one of the two "Heat" Commando rifles (will have to swap the sling as well in fact).
I ended up with two SBA3s. Split-fixed (that takes care of the velcro showing on its rough side, no wobble etc.) and by extending the brace all the way you keep the size of the brace a little further away from the rest of the body of the gun(s) which is, by definition, sort of smaller. In order to compensate - and I am strictly speaking of looks alone, though it works well with function, too - I swapped barrels, adding the A2 profile to the A2 upper (as seen later on in the years with 733's) and the .625" profile went on the C7 upper. I like the M4 hand guards on the lighter barrel profile because in fact they compensate for the look of fatness at the brace. The A2 barrel size instead does the compensation for the SBA3 size with the A2 upper so I could leave a skinny hand guard on. I think this works for me now - this is all I can do from here. One day... maybe.
