That will get it done Rick! She looks fun. Affordable doesn't hurt. Is that the 4.5" CMMG barrel?

Looking good Ralph. Is that a Hanson profile? Old school rail still looks the part if you ask me.

Yes, it's the hanson profile. I hear you, I love the older non mlock geissele rails.

It is the 4.5."

Its main purpose is hosting a suppressor.

It was inspired by the HK branded Walther 416 pistol.

I like that a lot. Kind of a cross between a Mk18 Mod 0 and a PDW. Simple, fixed sights at close range work just fine - instinctive shooting is faster than even a red dot. At 7 to 20 yards, simple but lethal. Still able to make 200 meter shots when necessary. Good stuff.

Thanks for the compliment! Shot it at the local indoor range and real happy with the performance. Not a single hiccup and after sighting in it was easy to keep it in the 10 ring at 25 yards. Taking it to the hunting land this Saturday, will stretch it out to 100 yards.

Just "finished" my first pistol build... still have a AFG and a light mount to get.  I tried to source all parts on sale to see how affordable as possible.

PSA 10.5" upper with 12" MLok rail and KAK muzzle can for $329
Anderson Stripped Lower   $45
PSA LPK Enhanced MOE with SB brace  $119
Vortex Strike Fire II  $149
Magpul BUIS. $65
Magpul MLok AFG. $24
MLok light mount. $30ish

All in price of $761.

How do you NOT pick up on the deals out there these days? I've always thrown around the idea of a 300 blk and when Primary Arms had a complete upper on sale for $189, I couldn't pass it up. BCG and CH will come out of my current pistol but I'll pick up a dedicated set soon enough. Reading up on 300 blk quite a bit and hope to have some fresh pulled pork and bacon soon from this little guy.

10.5, 9" rail. Purchased on a Wednesday and delivered on a Friday. True PA fashion.

Now what optic? PA Micro Dot, PA 30MM or Vortex Crossfire II 3-9 x 40? I have each of them in the safe.

Top is my 11.5 5.56. BA 11.5 barrel, 11" (10.93)slr ion lite rail, CMT billet ambi receivers, CMT Z flash comp, POF trigger, blade and bcm mod 1 grip.

Bottom is my 10.5 .300blk.  BA 10.5 barrel, aero receivers, rtb trigger,  12" breek arms hybrid rail, CMT Z linear comp. And i know the green mag release button is out of place, but it was a present from my g/f and had to go on one of my rifles.

They are very good quality. Everything is in spec on the model I purchased. Only thing is the hybrid rail like I have us fairly heavy with the extra material.

Nice!  I like the purple too!  What do these 2 weigh in at?  Is that skeletonized grip hard to grip comfortably?  Seems like your fingers would curl into the opening at times.

Thanks! Haven't weighed them but I will and post in an edit. The 9mm is definitely quite a bit lighter than the 300BO. The grips are surprisingly comfortable. No issue with the openings.

So why go to the trouble of making an NFA registered AOW out of a non-NFA pistol? Just curious.

Cool.  I'll be looking for your update.  My 300BO pistol (10.5" barrel) weighs in at 6.5lbs empty and 7.8lbs with a full mag.  I'm guessing yours will be a bit lighter due to all the skeletonized parts.

Just installed new SB Tactical SOB brace.  I had the Sig SB-15 before and I think I'm gonna like this better.  I think it looks better too.  DoubleStar lower and Radical Firearms 300 BLK upper 8.5".

Well, the 300BO weighs 6lbs 13oz empty and 7lbs 15oz with a full mag. The 9mm pistol weighs 6lbs 3oz empty and 6lbs 12oz with a loaded 17 round mag. Seems like everything I build weighs a ton.

Barrel is 9" right?  Whats the length of barrel with the flash hider?  Also, what is the rail length?

Im really struggling with getting a 7" rail with 7.5 - 8" barrel or going to the 9.5" rail with a 10.5" barrel.

Only asking because im looking at building my first pistol n love that look with the pdw.

Thx in advance.
