Tried the shockwave. It was alright. Tried the pdw brace, it sucked. Just gave the sbm4 a shot, also not too thrilled. I think the best one may still be the original sb brace, even though it's heavy and hideous.

That's a beautiful weapon sir! Very cool.

It is the BCA side charger. I like it. Cycles perfectly. The handguard is the Midwest Industries 9" light weight. I metal worked the lines on the upper and the hand guard so they blend together.

Thanks Terry. She's changed quite a bit since then... but I still love to shoot her I'll add more pics soon.

Appreciate the info. I have a BCA right side charger I'm thinking of using for a 18" grendel build. Was wondering how you got that perfect fit there. Nice work!

Is that cerakote on the Shockwave blade? How does it stick to that rubbery material?

Yeah I had a sling mount on there for picture time but since removed it.

Not sure I would be posting pics, since another member here already tried that with his Thordsen cover and received a letter from ATF tech branch explicitly stating the additions of the rail and handstop/sling mount are both illegal.

Thanks,

Yes 9 inch, with the sbpdw brace. The rubber is very stiff on my example. Just got done running 100 rounds through it with flawless function!

What a fun little gun.

Nothing too special. It was a mix of take-offs, free stuff, random parts bin parts, parts I already had, and cheap stuff. The biggest investment other than the bolt assy and barrel was probably the grip.

• CMMG bolt assy, barrel and collar
• Superstition Precision alloy barrel extension
• Anderson upper/lower
• Unknown takeoff mil spec trigger/hammer
• Wolff reduced power trigger and disconnector springs
• Generic/no name LPK
• Lone Star Ordnance A2 stowaway grip
• UTG 30mm red/green dot
• Ergo rail section
• Strike Industries Cobra AFG
• Fieldsport free float tube
• Slipstream Precision 22lr receiver plug
• EMA tactical one point sling
• KNS anti-rotation pins
