I shoot 3" groups at 250 yards using cheapass Wolf ammo with mine. Does much better with Hornady. The Satern barrels provide a lot of gas so a heavier buffer is often required to slow the cycle rate down to stop stovepipe ejections. If you shoot Wolf you'll likely need an enhanced firing pin or you'll be getting about 15% misfires, but the enhanced firing pin cures that. The builder Andy is right there to help with any problems you encounter and I couldn't have built one as cheaply as I bought a complete upper. The new slanted front handguards really turn me off however. I like mine a lot and shoot it almost exclusively these days but it got to be a PITA changing out the uppers so I built a dedicated lower for it and now I have two complete rifles, one for deer/hog hunting and one for defense.
