Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - help with armalight adj gas block

i picked up a new armalite ar10.it is the spr mod 2.it has a adjustable gas block.im going to sight it in tommorow and make any adjustments needed.im not familiar with this gas block and the the owners manual that came with the gun makes no mention of the gb.it has a screw on the front and the side.i just dont know which does what?

The side screw locks & unlocks the adjustment screw in the front.
Start the adjustment screw at half open, then either open or close until the BCG is locking back on the last round.

Make sure the set screws on the bottom are tight, Actually the front set screw is the locking screw and side is adj. Mine came loose and I opted to have armalite put a non adj block on and pin it. Mario did a great job and turn around was quick
