Has anyone had any experience with the dsa grendel uppers that are on sale now? A good buddy of mine loved shooting my grendel and wants to snag one for himself but is on a budget. Thanks!

I recently bought a 16" one, seems well put together. A friend just got 18" upper and he is happy so far. But the proof is in the shooting which for mine should be today and considering the price point offered it would be tough to build one with similar specs.

I have 2 of their 16" 5.56 and one is extremely accurate and the other soso. But in the others defense it's only had a thermal optic on it.

I have always had decent luck with DSA both their lowers and uppers.

I haven't tried their grendel offering but I wouldn't be afraid to.

i have the 16 inch upper..it shoots really good.i never actually measured the groups ,but with factory hornady it would shoot 1-1.25 i would estimate.it would not group wolf though.that was like 4-5 inchs.
