1400 seems a little Hugh to me personally. Looking at that rifle I think a grand is pushing it.

Pass...

Unless you know who's barrel and bolt are in it. Only a few companies have made good Beowulf barrels, Liberty( also makers of midway's AR Stoner Beowulf barrels), satern and Alexander being gtg as far as I know

That is high for a mish-mosh rifle with unknown barrel and bolt.  As was said above you need to be picky about where the barrel and bolt comes from with the beowulf.

Yes, that is high. Back when I had a 50 Beowulf, they were not much different in price from the 5.56. I only have experience with Alexander Arms and they are good quality. Ammo is high and in my opinion, reloading would be a requirement. Also, unless you are 20 years old, your not going to like shooting it with that stock.

That looks like the brake that Radical Firearms uses on their uppers.  I would run, not walk, away from that deal.

There is a comparable rifle that will perform better without the tacky red parts for less than a grand.

Good advice.  If you want a .50 Beowulf, take that money and go to Alexander Arms and buy a .50 upper from them, then put together a lower.  I would run not walk away from that Frankenrifle.

ETA: For a few hundred less than $1400 you can buy a complete entry level Beowulf rifle from Alexander Arms.
