Do I really need to?

And Nevenmind about the $400 upper...that one ended at noon but there is another lightweight complete upper on sale for $450 until noon tmrw. That makes it $650 for a complete rifle with a 18" railed upper.

Still GTG

Can't tell you - I bought the upper last month (it has the lightweight M-Lok handguard, but I think the same everything else) when I thought the "special" price was good

I just ordered the lower about a week ago (complete billet lower with ODG MOE stock set for $229, which IS a good price) - still waiting for it to ship out.  Still, should be a heck of a rifle for $800.

Last month, that was a good price.  Salad days.  But I can imagine it hurts to have spent half an AR to get your parts a month earlier.

Well, I didn't want that crappy $200 classic blem lower, and $800 includes FFL trans, so I wouldn't call the $150 a half an AR... but it IS 8 cases of beer or a half-case of ammo, either of which is enough to chap anybody's arse!!

Shoots great. I have the same with the PSA classic lower.

What's wrong with the $200 classic blem lower?

Stock stinks.  Flimsy and uncomfortable.  Getting a non-blem billet lower with MOE stock for an extra $30 was a slam dunk.  Lower is coming in today, BTW

Yea I replaced mine with Luth-AR MBA4. I liked the classic because I knew I'd be replacing a couple things

Did that Luth-AR mount right on the receiver extension? Or did you have to replace the extension? Appreciate any info and a picture too if you can. Thanks

I bought the upper last night.  I am hoping this is not a bad idea but honestly $650 to get into .308 AR is not bad at all.  For that price can always upgrade as needed.  Plus I did not want to have to buy the adapter for SOCOM II to run my suppressor.

I've been using all my will power to not get one myself. I'll fold eventually. For that price your stupid not to get it. Even just for a beater hunting gun.

Do it!

308 for cheaper than half all my 5.56 AR's

i'm sure my PA10 isn't as nice as an Armalite but for the money it can't be beat.

Thats not bad at all.  Is that with your current stock?  If the barrel was fluted could probably be in the 8lbs 2 Oz range.  With something like a leopold 3x9 and areo precision mount I imagine you could be in the 9 lbs ready to roll.

I'm so tempted to put together a second rifle - The only thing keeping me honest is the bargain uppers all have keymod handguards, and I hate the look of keymod.

How good are the PSA .308's? I just found 500+ rounds of .308 in my shop, sized & primed ready to load. Figured I wight as well load it up but don't have a .308 so came here to get ideas on .308 AR's.

Upper arrived yesterday.  I must say it is actually really nice.  Build quality looks good.  I did end up ordering the complete blem lower, once that gets here I will update on that.
