I've had this Armalite for a little over a year. I've been shooting the crap out of it while I decided on the exact components and accessories. I wanted a lightweight, reliable carbine for defense as well as short to medium range deer and pig hunting.

I went with a PA 1-6x on mine, and it's a DPMS pattern, not Armalite.

Yes. It runs 100% with every Ammo I've tried and I see no reason to change any of it.

I've been using them for over a decade with no problems. I have four EOTechs on ARs and two holosites on .22s and they've all been great. This one I zeroed on the AR-10 in the spring in 80 degree weather. Last month I shot it on a 16 degree day and had no shift in zero.

That looks great!
What barrel is that?
Diameter behind and fwd of gas block?
What position is the gas block? Carbine, rifle?
What kind of 5 rd bench groups with something like FGMM 168?
Less reliable cause they said so right?

That's probably why it runs 100%, lol.

In all honesty I probably would have swapped the trigger - unless it came with the Armalite 2 stage, that one should be pretty decent on it's own.

Factory Armalite 16" barrel, .75 at the gas block and I believe .625 before and aft, mid gas.
