My LPK will be here today for my Aero 308 lower.  My question is, how does the pivot pin detent get installed?  It doesn't look like my installation tool for my AR-15 will work.  Suggestions?

yup.

I always install all springs sitting on the floor under a sheet. a few have flown, but easily found.

If it's like the Brownells tool, it will work.  Use an allen wrench or similar to compress the spring and turn it just enough to catch the edge of the detent.  Remove the allen wrench to turn it the rest of the way, then proceed as normal.  The ziploc is a good idea too.
