I just purchased an M&P 10 and am looking to swap out the handgaurd, I was looking at the slr rifleworks 16.5" or Midwest industry 15" free floating handgaurds. Just wondering if anyone has any experience with either one. Are there any other brands that anybody can recommend. Also mlok or keymod??? I'm leaning toward mlok because of magpul but what are people opinions and experience with mlok and keymod

Any reply's are greatly appreciated

I have the Troy rail wich I rather like.  There were not too many options when I bought it.  The Troy is not the lightest but not much heavier than the stock setup with that huge gas block.

I just installed the Apex Handguard. It's a smaller slender tube and quite light.
It is slightly offset toward the top to clear the gas block. I was quite surprised as it is quite substantial. Haven't taken it to the range yet but don't expect any surprises.

I have the 15" Midwest Industries Keymod rail on mine, and I love it.

Great handguard at a very decent price.
