I'm kinda liking the MI SS Gen 2 handguard/rail.  The price and looks are very good.  But I have a few questions...

I'm not sure I like the idea of a rail that's Loktite-ed and clamped on to the barrel nut ala Troy, MI, or Samson...

Is there a significant difference in sturdiness and durability between a clamp-on style rail and a rail that bolts onto or screws into a proprietary barrel nut?

Is there a bolt on rail that is around $200?

Yes, yes, I'd prefer an SWS or the new Geissele 308 SuperModular but $400 is a lot of coin...

Thoughts? Ideas? Alternatives?

Thanx!
