I recently finished my MEGA Maten after getting it Cerakoted at a local business, Atomic Tactical. David at Atomic Tactical was generous enough to take some finished pictures for me. The color is Atomic Bronze and is a color that is mixed in-house there. It changes color depending on the light and can look almost gold to a dark bronze/copper color.

The first few pictures were taken by me and the last few were taken by David.

Maybe it's the angle of the picture but, your brake looks like the ports are facing almost vertical?

My new .308

  • Aero Upper & Scope Mount

  • DPMS $119 barrel (still on sale by the way)

  • Hogue Furniture

  • Jerry Brake

  • Burris M-Tac 1.5-6X

  • Armalite charging handle (waiting to get a raptor)

  • Magpul ASAP plate

Still to do:

  • Get a BCG (crossing my fingers for Christmas)

  • Get the right color grip (accidentally got the Ghillie Tan instead of the regular Tan)

  • Get a padded sling

  • Dimple the barrel to save some weight

  • Put small holes in pieces of paper that are far away, preferably close together

noveske 16.5 barrel
geissele sd-c trigger
aero set
SLR 14 inch fore end
aac brake out muzzle device
bcm grip and charging handle
b5 sopmod stock.
The extras are just toys that bounce between what ever gun needs them.  There is a gen3 legionnaire from adams industries a vortex 6-24x50 ebr2c a cqbl1 and m300v on a fusion mount.

I really like the SLR rails.

Just ordered a new primary arms gen II micro red dot with American Defense QD mount and sent the red dot, stock, sights, grip and 3 mags out to get coated in Multicam...at some point i will get the handguard, upper and lower coated in multicam and send the barrel to adco to get spiral fluting on the front portion and straight fluting in the back. only weighs about 9-10 pounds.

I bought an aero precision 18" mId length barrel with the intentions to build a long range rifle but I suck at long range shooting so I sent it to adco and they cut it to 14.5". I got the cmmg rmk-11 handguard...it weighs roughly 9-10 lbs with the light and red dot...next major purchase is sending the barrel back to adco and getting spiral fluting up front and straight fluting in the back...I just got my sights, stock, grip, and magazines back today and had them coated in Multicam.
