THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT
i was a tad worried that it would'nt be ready for deer season this year. my whole intention was to build a lighterweight rig for walking around in the woods... it's not terribly heavy at all, but with hindsight being 20/20 and all, i probably should have gone with a 18" barrel instead of 20". eh well.

sorry for the crappy cell phone pics. the upper reciever is Mega "slickside" billet (this thing is MASSIVE!), with a Black Hole Weaponry barrel... standard contour. The handguard is the new MI 15" tube SS2 and the optic is a leupold MkAR 3-9 mil dot. the lower recever is Tactical Innovations Billet, with a ACE AFRX stock and Sierra Percision grip. i plan on running the Tubbs Final Finish compound coated bullets on my break in procedure, just to start things off on the right foot. i'll post an AAR once that get's done

just waiting for a good deal on a Gissele SSA trigger and i'll be good to go!

Nice! My 6.5G upper is almost finished, just trying to find a TRX rail for it.
Yesterday, I was on the train sitting across from a smoking hot Thai chick. I kept saying to myself, please don't get an erection, please don't get an erection, but, she did.

Congrats, looks very nice. I recently got into the Grendel and am glad I did.
Peace is that brief glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading.

Nice build, I love the Mega receivers. I have read the BWH barrels are good pipes also.

Your barrel maker does not recommend using the Tubbs system for break-in. FYI

I wouldn't run the final finish on a polygonal rifled barrel, or any new barrel right off the bat until I could see how it grouped fouled. There is less room for a polygonal rifled barrel to accumulate fouling, so it should be a shooter already, as long as steel quality is good, the bore is concentric with the OD, and the muzzle is crowned true.

Hey I know that guy *points up to Runsbellows*...well, sort of. Truth be told Runs, I'm kind of jealous over your Mega upper, it looks mucho cool.

How do you like that stock? I considered putting one on my Beowulf but opted for a collapsible Magpul.

heyya brandi! yeah, i love my mega reciever. i feel i did not need a forward assist of dust cover, and the less things for the brass to bump into the better (i'm a reloader). plus, i think the clean lines of the reciever just look plain cool, hahaha. after much deliberation, i opted for the Ace AFRX stock. it is fairly lightweight, and the foam cheekweld is comfortable. i still need to score a good deal on a trigger, i cant wait to see what this AR does for accuracy
