Gentlemen, building my wife a 5.56 AR15 (she wants a purple rifle) and I have a Fulton 16" .308 with DPMS lower. We shoot at 100 yards mostly but 2-4 times a year go to the desert to shoot 500+ yards. Would like a scope that has interchangeability with both platforms. Currently using a Leupold Mark AR 3-9X40mm on another 16" AR15 build that my wife shoots loves it(but it isn't purple so new gun build for her). Is the NF 2.5-10X a good choice for a scope, if so what quick disconnect mount would be suggested, and what model NF scope would provide good interchangeability. Thanks for the input.

If she likes the Leupold, get her another one. Use what you know.

Perhaps pick an LRT M1 or M3 in 3.5-10x40mm. I run three of them, and need a couple more.

I say this because I have a couple scopes that I am no longer a fan of, because I am used to the Leupolds.

I got a NF 2.5-10x32mm (NP-R2) in a Larue Tactical QD mount on my 6.5 Grendel AR15 and love it. Excellent scope, in my opinion, for 10-800yd.
