As stated, the req'd distance is a 200yd max. The 308 is the perfect platform IMO for this.
I have utmost confidence, my lightened 16" 308 AR can dispose of pretty much anything besides a hippo, rhino, elephant or whale. A Trophy-Bonded Bear Claw will bust through any bones it hits and keep on going at that distance. The key here is the distance part. After 350-400 yards, that's when the 7mm and 300wm's come in. |
