It's got an optic now :) I wish I could afford to put an Aimpoint PRO in this mount and put the Comp M2 in the QRP on another upper :)

Well I'm almost finished with my first 6.8 build.
Nothing fancy but I learned at lot. I have another empty lower that I think I will also build into another 6.8, only I will do it with what I learned on this one.
Here is my first build:

I was worried that the 3X magnifier (Primary Arms Deluxe) wouldn't clear the Magpul MBUS, I have an EoTech 517 mounted and put the magnifier on a LaRue QD swing over mount (tall) and it cleared fine:

I'm really looking forward to my next build......

Here's the latest configuration of my 16" Bison Armory barreled recce. Scope is a Super Sniper 1-4x FFP with the circle reticle.

ETA: For clarity's sake, my rifle is a 6.8...

A5 buffer and tube with the ACS stock, Valdada 1.5-8x optic, need to get a 35mm SPR-E from larue so the BUIS can go back on there.

Those last 6 pictures were actually 6x45 rifles and the 4 before that were .300BLK's. Get my point? These pic threads get started as caliber specific, yet you couldn't tell the difference between a 5.56, 6.5, 6.8, 300blk, or a 6x45 in any of them!! Just funny stuff, ya know?!

What are you talking about?
The pic posted before your post is a 6.8 per the poster (who I know from other boards) and two above it is a 6.8. A few pics dont expressly say 6.8 by MFG XYZ though. In this page, if the specs are listed, it appears they are 6.8s by the posters.

If you know they are non 6.8 rifles, thats curious that they got posted here but I know the few above yours are 6.8 rifles per the users. Not sure what your driving at with the " last 6 pics " thing.

I think people can read enough of the title to understand its a 6.8 pic thread.

Back on topic...

Old 6.8 rifle by Ko Tonics , 18" SS barrel, SPC II chamber, 1:11 twist customized by yours truly ;) Shot this pronghorn in WY back in 2008. 360 something yards lazed. 4x IOR.

It starts with your head, then use your hands, if you try it in reverse, you don't even have a chance.
